Tareq Amin was appointed CEO of HUMAIN in May 2025 when the PIF company launched. A Jordanian-American technologist, he had led Aramco Digital since October 2023 and earlier Rakuten Mobile and Rakuten Symphony.
Under his leadership HUMAIN organizes its work in four layers: AI infrastructure, AI cloud, data and models, and applications and solutions. He has stated the goal of Saudi Arabia becoming the third-largest AI infrastructure provider after the United States and China.
