In brief
Fortune reported on 9 September 2026 that HUMAIN has begun preparations for an IPO.
Fortune reported on 9 September 2026 that HUMAIN has begun preparations for an IPO. CEO Tareq Amin said at FII in October 2025 that he aims to list in both Saudi Arabia and New York by 2029.
Fortune, citing Bloomberg, said HUMAIN plans to raise a $2.5 billion fund for data center expansion, and Amin said the $10 billion global AI venture fund first outlined in 2025 could launch at an even larger scale by the end of 2026. An Alvarez & Marsal report cited by Fortune says Saudi Arabia's AI and cloud expansion by 2030 will need up to $42 billion of project capital, including $32 billion of debt, if about half of announced data center capacity is delivered; the estimate covers the national build-out, not HUMAIN alone.
An adviser quoted by Fortune said PIF has been explicit that portfolio companies must reduce their draw on the sovereign.
Key figures
- $2.5bnplanned data-centre fund (Bloomberg report)
- $42bnproject capital needed through 2030, Saudi AI and cloud (Alvarez & Marsal)
- $32bndebt portion (Alvarez & Marsal)
