Luma AI raised a $900 million Series C led by HUMAIN, with AMD Ventures and existing investors including Andreessen Horowitz, valuing the video-AI company at $4 billion. Luma will become a customer of HUMAIN's Project Halo, a 2 GW AI supercluster being built in Saudi Arabia, and the partnership includes HUMAIN Create, an effort to build models trained on Arabic and regional data.
The deal was announced at the US-Saudi Investment Forum in Washington.
