During President Trump's Gulf visit, Saudi Arabia pledged $600 billion of investments in the United States, with $300 billion of deals reportedly signed at the Saudi-US Investment Forum in Riyadh on 13 May 2025. The US also agreed an arms package valued at about $142 billion. Technology and AI featured prominently, with HUMAIN deals with Nvidia, AMD and AWS, and the Crown Prince indicated that a second phase could lift the total to $1 trillion. The AI-specific US-Saudi memorandum of understanding followed in November 2025.
