stc's subsidiary center3 and HUMAIN signed an MoU on 18 December 2025 to form a joint venture, 51% HUMAIN and 49% stc, to develop and operate AI-focused data centers with an initial capacity of up to 250 MW and a long-term target of 1 GW, subject to customer commitments. The six-month MoU was reportedly extended by a further six months in June 2026 to complete regulatory, operational and commercial requirements. A definitive agreement has not been announced.
