On 6 August 2025 HUMAIN and Groq announced the Middle East's first deployment of OpenAI's open-weight gpt-oss-120B and gpt-oss-20B models, running on Groq's inference infrastructure inside HUMAIN's sovereign data centers in the Kingdom, Arab News reported on 7 August. HUMAIN says the larger model exceeds 500 tokens per second and the smaller one 1,000 tokens per second. HUMAIN's CEO said developers and enterprises get access to the frontier of AI, fully aligned with national regulations and data laws.
