# Third Global AI Summit draws 30,000 delegates to Riyadh

The third Global AI Summit, organized by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), ran from 10 to 12 September 2024 and reported more than 30,000 delegates, more than 450 speakers from 100 countries, 150 sessions, more than 25 launches and more than 80 agreements and MoUs. Outcomes included the Riyadh Charter on AI for the Islamic World with ICESCO, the UNESCO Category 2 classification of ICAIRE, the SAMAI one-million-Saudis program, the AI Adoption Framework, Microsoft's Arabic-model center with ALLaM on Azure, and MoUs with IBM, Dell, Oracle and Nvidia. The next edition was set for 2026.
