Supermicro and DataVolt signed a memorandum of understanding on 16 May 2025 to build hyperscale AI campuses, initially in Saudi Arabia, with Supermicro supplying ultra-dense GPU platforms, storage, networking and liquid-cooled racks. Supermicro put the minimum market value of the products contemplated at $20 billion. The figure is the estimated value of equipment under the MoU, not capital invested by DataVolt, and the agreement is subject to definitive documents.
