At LEAP 2026 Amazon Web Services (AWS) said its first Saudi infrastructure region, an investment of more than $5.3 billion (SAR 19.88 billion), is on track to launch in December 2026 with three availability zones, bringing AWS to 40 regions. With HUMAIN it will also make up to 50 MW available in Saudi Arabia's first AI Zone by 2028, using AWS Trainium chips and Nvidia infrastructure. AWS is integrating HUMAIN's ALLaM model into Amazon Bedrock, according to a LEAP summary.
